Updating a previous report, free-agent Cooper Kupp (Rams) signed a three-year contract worth a reported $45 million on Tuesday, March 18.
Fantasy Spin: Kupp's pairing with Jaxon Smith-Njigba is an interesting one since both players have operated out of the slot as often as they have, but neither player is a slot-only receiver either. Expect both players to be used interchangeably in that regard, at least for as long as Kupp - who has struggled with injuries in recent years - can stay on the field. Kupp should be able to return fantasy WR3 value when he is on the field in 2025.

Dynasty | The Seahawks have signed wide receiver Cooper Kupp. Dynasty Analysis: This always seemed to be the most likely outcome, but now it's official. The Rams paid Davante Adams around $14 million to replace him this season, so they clearly feel his best days are over. The Seahawks disagreed as they are going to give him $45 million over a three-year span. That contract is similar to those of Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton, not Justin Jefferson or CeeDee Lamb, so it seems palatable for Seattle. Kupp will start opposite Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but both of those players seem more effective out of the slot, so we'll need to see just how things play out. Regardless, Kupp has a home, has been paid handsomely, and is expected to produce big numbers. Dynasty managers will take it. He projects more as a WR2 than a WR1 moving forward, but this was about as good a result as you could hope for.
The Seattle Seahawks have agreed on a deal with free-agent wide receiver Cooper Kupp on Friday. The two sides have reportedly agreed on a three-year, $45 million deal. The veteran wideout will receive $15 million per year, which seems reasonable, assuming Kupp can actually stay healthy. The 32-year-old hasn't played a full season since 2021, but should be an immediate impact player in Seattle. The organization has given new quarterback Sam Darnold some solid weapons with Kupp and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Fantasy managers have seen Kupp's stats drop over the last few seasons, but he has only been injured in each of the last three seasons. The Seahawks are lacking legitimate playmakers, so Kupp should see plenty of targets in Seattle.

Updating a previous report, free-agent WR Cooper Kupp (Rams) is expected to sign with the Seattle Seahawks, according to The Insiders. Kupp is expected to make $15 million per year, perhaps more.
Fantasy Spin: Kupp is from the state of Washington, and he played his college football at Eastern Washington. He will get an opportunity to face the Los Angeles Rams twice per season, too, showing the team what it lost when they chose Davante Adams over him. As long as he can stay healthy, and that's a big if, he still has at least a couple more seasons as a productive slot receiver and fantasy option while working with new QB Sam Darnold.

Free-agent WR Cooper Kupp (Rams) and the Seattle Seahawks have been in talks, with the team trying to sell the veteran receiver on his next chapter. He has been in touch with members of the organization, too.
Fantasy Spin: Landing in Seattle might be a good spot for Kupp, who played his college football at Eastern Washington. He is from Yakima, Wash., and, most importantly, he would get a chance to face the Los Angeles Rams twice per season, with the ability to exact revenge against the team which chose Davante Adams over him. With Sam Darnold, Kupp would have a quarterback coming off a red-hot 2024 campaign. We'll see if it comes into fruition.

Free-agent WR Cooper Kupp (Rams) is reportedly seeking as much as $15 million per season with his next contract, according to sources.
Fantasy Spin: The Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints, Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys are reportedly the four teams most interested in securing his services. The Seahawks may have the biggest need for him and would meet his preference of remaining on the West Coast. The Saints would benefit greatly from a slot receiver like Kupp, who would complement the speedy duo of Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed well. The Broncos need him less than the others, although Kupp could fit nicely alongside Courtland Sutton and Evan Engram. The Cowboys probably wouldn't mind having a strong second receiver to take some defensive attention off CeeDee Lamb. Kupp will likely be a fantasy WR3 option if he lands in any of these spots.

Free-agent wide receiver Cooper Kupp has been asking for as much as $15 million per year on the open market, sources tell The Athletic's Jeff Howe. However, Howe writes that it sounds as though the former Los Angeles Rams wideout would take less for a preferred destination -- it's been reported that he'd like to stay on the West Coast. The 31-year-old doesn't want a long, drawn-out free-agent process and should pick a new team sooner than later, with it being reported that at least five teams are interested. The Jacksonville Jaguars are not one of those teams, but the receiver-needy New England Patriots have reached out. It has also been reported that the Dallas Cowboys are interested, although they aren't considered the front-runners. Kupp has lost a step or two due to lower-body injuries in recent seasons, but the former Pro Bowler could still have fantasy value in the right situation.
From RotoBaller
The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly making a push to sign free-agent wide receiver Cooper Kupp. At first glance, the Cowboys seemed to emerge as favorites considering they have the cap space and need for a standout wideout such as Kupp. Despite that, the Cowboys are not being considered the likely landing spot for the All-Pro receiver. There have been a handful of teams mentioned to be in the mix for Kupp such as the Saints, Jaguars, Seahawks, and Broncos. It doesn't sound like Kupp wants to draw out this process, so he should decide relatively soon. Kupp hasn't played a full season since 2021, but is still an above average receiver when healthy. The combination of CeeDee Lamb and Kupp in Dallas is a nice thought on paper, but doesn't seem extremely likely to happen right now.

The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly making a push to sign free-agent wide receiver Cooper Kupp. The 31-year-old wideout was recently released by the Los Angeles Rams after the team failed to find a trade partner for him. The Cowboys have over $40 million in cap space and a need for a No. 2 wideout behind CeeDee Lamb. There is likely going to be plenty of teams in the mix for Kupp, but the Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks seem like the favorites. Last season, Kupp hauled in 67 receptions for 710 yards and six touchdowns across 12 games with the Rams. Kupp hasn't played a full season since 2021, but he can still be a viable option in plenty of offenses.

Despite reports that have connected free-agent wide receiver Cooper Kupp to the Jacksonville Jaguars, sources have told FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz that the Jaguars are not interested. Sources also tell Schultz that the sense around the NFL is that the former Los Angeles Rams wideout doesn't plan on having a drawn-out free-agent process and prefers to make his decision quickly. The 31-year-old veteran reportedly has interest from at least five teams, with the Boston Sports Journal's Mike Giardi saying that the New England Patriots are one of those teams. It's believed that Kupp prefers to stay on the West Coast, though, and a league source told Giardi that Kupp's current asking price is "insane" compared to where he's at in his career. The former third-rounder can still play a key role on offense, but serious lower-body injuries in recent seasons have sapped him of the elite athleticism that helped him earn the NFL's receiving Triple Crown in 2021.

Free-agent WR Cooper Kupp (Rams) is not drawing interest from the Jacksonville Jaguars 'despite reports' connecting the two sides, according to sources.
From TheHuddle
Free-agent WR Cooper Kupp (Rams) is reportedly of interest to the New England Patriots, according to a source.
Fantasy Spin: The Patriots owe it to Drake Maye to get him as many weapons as possible, although it could be argued the one legit threat they already have at receiver is primarily a slot guy in Demario Douglas. With that said, Kupp is not restricted to being a slot and would give Maye a dependable option on the outside to pair alongside a likely Day 1 or Day 2 wideout in April's draft. Kupp would likely fall into the fantasy WR3 range if he ends up with New England.
From TheHuddle
Free-agent WR Cooper Kupp (Rams) reportedly is drawing interest from at least five teams and expected to sign with one 'sooner than later,' according to sources.
Fantasy Spin: It is a good bet that the Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans are among the teams that hope the Eastern Washington product signs with them. The Seahawks arguably need him more than the others, and they may have the upper hand given his roots and the opportunity to play the Rams twice per year. Injuries may have sapped some of Kupp's greatness, but he proved that points last season he is still more than capable of having huge games.
From TheHuddle
The Seattle Seahawks are interested in signing recently released veteran wide receiver Cooper Kupp, according to SeattleTimes.com. Kupp was let go by the Los Angeles Rams following eight seasons with the organization that included him racking up 634 receptions for 7,776 yards and 57 touchdowns in 104 career games. Kupp won the 2021 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award after posting 145 catches for 1,947 yards and 16 scores. Seattle released longtime wideout Tyler Lockett and traded DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason, leaving the team with a weakness at the position behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Kupp is beyond his prime years of production, but he'd instantly slide into at least the No. 2 pass-catching role in Seattle's offense led by new quarterback Sam Darnold.
From RotoBaller
Free-agent WR Cooper Kupp (Rams) is already drawing 'significant interest' from several teams and could have a new home within the next 24 hours, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Fantasy Spin: The Jacksonville Jaguars stand out as an obvious potential suitor, if only because their new head coach and new general manager both worked for the Rams recently. Other realistic options include the Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans. The 31-year-old Kupp may no longer be in his prime, but there was ample evidence over the first 10 or so weeks of last season that he can still be a very strong starting receiver in the league.

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp was officially released Wednesday, March 12.

Dynasty | The Rams have released wide receiver Cooper Kupp. Dynasty Analysis: The longtime Ram will officially enter the open market unless Los Angeles finds a last second trade partner. That seems unlikely as Kupp has clearly been trade bait for a month. He'll end his Rams tenure with a whopping 634 catches for 7,776 yards and 57 touchdowns. Now three years removed from his 145/1,947/16 miracle season, Kupp has battled injuries and is likely no longer a WR1 in dynasty leagues. However, a good landing spot like New England or Seattle could change things for the better. Stay tuned.
The Los Angeles Rams have informed veteran wide receiver Cooper Kupp that he will be released on Wednesday, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero. The team looked to trade the 31-year-old this offseason but was unable to come up with a deal. Now, Kupp will hit the open free-agent market, where he will be free to sign with any organization. After being selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Eastern Washington, Kupp registered 634 catches for 7,776 yards, and 57 touchdowns in 104 career games over eight seasons. He won NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2021 after logging 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns. While Kupp has battled lower-body injuries and is likely past his prime, he provided some strong performances in 2024 and totaled 67 catches for 710 yards and six scores. There should be plenty of free-agent interest for the former first-team All-Pro.

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp has been informed that he will be released Wednesday, March 12, according to a source.
Fantasy Spin: Kupp should receive interest from multiple teams and probably will be a starter for his new team in 2025. He can be a No. 3 receiver in most leagues if he can stay healthy.
