Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson said that he had a "really good" exit interview with wide receiver DJ Moore and called him a key guy who helped the team get as far as they did this season, according to Jasson Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times. Johnson called Moore a "huge contributor." Moore certainly finished on a high note, scoring in both of the team's playoff games and finding the end zone five times in the final six contests. However, the 28-year-old finished the 2025 campaign with career lows in receptions (50) and receiving yards (682) while finding the end zone six times in 17 games played. He definitely stepped up when Rome Odunze missed the final five regular-season games with a stress fracture in his foot, but for most of the year, he was hit or miss and extremely inconsistent for fantasy managers. Going into 2026, it could be more of the same for Moore, especially if Odunze gets over his foot ailment.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore posted a strong outing in his final game of the 2025 season, recording five catches for 52 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in his team's NFC Divisional Round loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The 28-year-old was a standout performer across Chicago's two postseason games, hauling in 11 receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns on 15 targets. However, Moore had his least productive regular season since his rookie year, recording 50 catches for 682 yards and six touchdowns on 85 targets across 17 games. Going forward, the Bears have a trio of young pass-catchers in wide receivers Luther Burden III and Rome Odunze, as well as tight end Colston Loveland, who could push Moore down Chicago's target-share pecking order. Moore's future status with the Bears could be a storyline for fantasy managers to monitor over the course of the offseason.

Jan 19 12:33am ET

Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore is likely to be traded during the offseason, in the opinion of ESPN's Ben Solak, who notes that Moore has little bonus money left, allowing the team to move on from him even though he still has four years remaining on his deal. Solak adds that the team is set at the position with WRs Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III, and that Moore will have a market.

Fantasy Spin: While clearly this is just speculation, it's not without merit. Moore was far more productive in one season with Justin Fields than he has been with Caleb Williams, and despite some high-profile receptions, his week-to-week production in 2025 made him borderline unplayable. A change of scenery could certainly be of benefit to Moore for fantasy purposes.

Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams completed 23 of his 42 passes for 257 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in a 20-17 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round. He added 40 rushing yards on five carries. RB D'Andre Swift rushed 19 times for 76 yards, and RB Kyle Monangai chipped in 36 rushing yards on 13 carries and caught four passes for 36 yards. TE Colston Loveland caught four passes for a team-high 56 yards, and WR DJ Moore had 52 receiving yards and a touchdown on a team-high five catches. WR Rome Odunze gained 44 receiving yards on two receptions, WR Luther Burden III added three catches for 24 yards, and TE Cole Kmet finished with three grabs for 31 yards and a game-tying touchdown that forced overtime. S Jaquan Brisker led the way on defense with a team-high 14 tackles, including eight solo stops, a sack and two passes defensed. CB Kyler Gordon, DE Montez Sweat and DE Dominique Robinson all recorded a sack in the loss.

Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore (head) was evaluated for a concussion but was cleared to return to the Divisional Round game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy Spin: Moore has been leading the Chicago passing attack, and he was on the receiving end of the team's first touchdown. After being cleared to return, Moore will try to pick up where he left off.

Jan 16 4:10pm ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore (knee) upgraded to a full practice on Friday and has been removed from the final injury report for Sunday's Divisional Round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, according to Bears Communications. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Rome Odunze is questionable as he continues to battle a stress fracture in his foot. Moore played 86% of the offensive snaps in last week's Wild-Card win over the Green Bay Packers and caught six of his seven targets for 64 yards and his seventh touchdown reception of the year. The Rams' defense has been a pretty solid fantasy matchup for opposing receivers this year, but managers must take into account that there are expected to be brutal weather conditions in Chicago on Sunday night that will make it difficult for the passing attack. Moore has been a boom/bust flex option for fantasy managers all year.

Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 16, and is not on the injury report for the Divisional Round playoff game.

Fantasy Spin: Moore saw a drop in his production during the 2025 regular season but is coming off a productive Wild Card performance. He should see a decent amount of targets against the Los Angeles Rams and will be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Chicago Bears CB Nick McCloud (groin) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 16, and has been ruled out of the Divisional Round playoff game. LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin (back) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. WR Rome Odunze (foot) fully participated in practice but is listed as questionable. S C.J. Gardner-Johnson (concussion), OT Braxton Jones (knee), WR DJ Moore (knee), LB Amen Ogbongbemiga (concussion) and DE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (concussion) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore (knee) was a limited practice participant on Thursday as he battles a lingering knee issue, per Michal Dwojak of Bears Insider. Moore was also listed on Chicago's injury report in the lead-up to the team's Wild Card Weekend matchup against the Green Bay Packers. However, he was active for the game and recorded six receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. Barring a setback, it seems likely that Moore will be able to play in the Divisional round against the Los Angeles Rams. The 28-year-old had a rough close to the regular season, recording just two receptions for 18 yards on seven targets over his final two outings. Still, he led all Chicago wide receivers in snap share in his bounce-back performance against the Packers. Moore profiles as a low-end wide receiver option for fantasy managers in the Divisional round.

Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore (knee) was limited in practice on Thursday, Jan. 15.

Fantasy Spin: Moore is a big difference maker for quarterback Caleb Williams and the Bears' offense. If he plays, he should be used in playoff pools and can work on making himself a potential WR1 in 2026.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore (knee) was listed as a limited participant during the team's walkthrough practice on Wednesday. Moore was also listed on last week's injury report due to a knee injury, but he was eventually removed and caught six of a season-high seven targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in the Wild-Card win over the division-rival Green Bay Packers. The 28-year-old also led the team's WRs with an 86% snap share. It was a bit of a surprise with Rome Odunze returning from a foot injury that kept him out of the final five regular-season games. Moore and the Bears will face a Los Angeles Rams defense in the Divisional Round that has had trouble slowing down opposing offenses in recent weeks, and they gave up the 11th-most half-PPR points to opposing wideouts during the regular season. However, Moore's role could shrink with Odunze another week removed from his foot injury.

Jan 11 8:20pm ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore caught six of seven targets for 64 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's Wild Card win over the Green Bay Packers. He also lost five yards rushing. The highlight of Moore's game was a 25-yard touchdown catch with just 1:48 left in the fourth quarter. The score put Chicago ahead 31-27, and that score would hold for the final 108 seconds as the Bears completed an improbable comeback and punched their ticket to the Divisional Round. Moore was relatively underwhelming as just the WR35 in full-PPR leagues this year, but there's no denying that he has a flair for the dramatic. He has scored game-winning touchdowns in each of the Bears' last two games against the Packers, and he has scored at least 17.9 full-PPR fantasy points in three of his last five games. The 28-year-old will look to stay hot as the Bears advance to face the Rams in the Divisional Round next weekend.

RB D'Andre Swift had 13 carries for 54 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 38 yards, and RB Kyle Monangai added 27 rushing yards on eight carries and caught one pass for 22 yards. TE Colston Loveland led the passing attack, catching eight passes for 137 yards. WR DJ Moore caught six passes for 64 yards and a score, WR Rome Odunze gained 44 yards on two receptions, and WR Luther Burden III had three receptions for 42 yards. TE Cole Kmet failed to catch a pass, and WR Olamide Zaccheaus caught an eight-yard touchdown. On the defensive side of the ball, S Jaquan Brisker recorded a team-high nine tackles, including five solo stops, and DE Austin Booker had six tackles and a sack.

Jan 10 3:50pm ET

Chicago wide receiver DJ Moore, along with most of the Bears' pass catchers, has had an up-and-down fantasy season, finishing as a top ten receiver four separate times in Half-PPR formats, while landing outside the top 50 in six different weeks. With Rome Odunze (foot) carrying no injury designation into Saturday night's Wild Card matchup with the Packers and Luther Burden III (quad) completely clear of the injury report, Chicago's receiving core enters the playoffs as healthy as it has been in weeks. With so many mouths to feed, someone may be left hungry, and too many times this season that distinction has fallen to Moore. He is RotoBaller's WR15 for the week on the strength of his big-play upside, but he is a risky play in the opening round of fantasy playoff leagues.

Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore (knee) practiced in full on Thursday, Jan. 8. He is now expected to be cleared to play against the Green Bay Packers.

From TheHuddle

Jan 8 2:50pm ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore (knee) is good to go for Saturday night's Wild-Card game against the division-rival Green Bay Packers after being removed from the injury report on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Moore finished second on the team with 682 receiving yards and was tied for the team lead with six touchdowns in 17 games during the regular season. The 28-year-old also had five catches for a season-high 97 yards and a touchdown in the big overtime win over the Packers in Week 16. In two games since then, though, Moore has a combined two catches for 18 yards. Moore can break big plays, but his floor is dangerously low, as evidenced by five games in 2025 with either one or zero catches. He profiles as a boom/bust WR2 on Wild-Card weekend in playoff leagues, especially with Rome Odunze (foot) returning after a five-game absence.
